Yesterday, for Halloween I beat Luigi’s Mansion for the first time, playing on the Switch 2. It was taking me a long time to figure out how to beat the final boss and find the 50th Boo, so I resorted to looking those hints up online.
Over a week ago, I finished collecting all trophies for the Nintendo Switch Online version. Since I hadn’t played it previously, I never realised it was made by the same development team that worked on the NHL Hitz series.
I’ve been playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder since it’s release and I think I’m done with the game now. I have all six medals, an online rating of 99,999 (the maximum), and I’ve even left the save file with 99 lives, 999 flower coins and 99 (normal) coins.
I’ve also had a decent go at trying to get good times (and score for credits) on the levels which save them. I can definitely improve them still, but they are hard to optimize and there’s many people better than me.
I may come back some day, but for now, I should be getting back to Pokemon and Zelda!
Before the 3D All-Stars completion, I decided to buy NSMBU on the Switch. I was initially hesitant having invested so much time into the Wii U version, but it was definitely worth playing again. I managed to not only complete the story modes again, but this time actually complete the challenge mode as well. The other 2 save files are just copies of the first one in both cases.

It’s been a long time since I last made a blog update. I have completed a number of games during the Nintendo Switch’s life so far. For instance, I have 100% completed Super Mario 3D All-Stars, collecting every Power Star and Shine Sprite. Today, I collected the maximum number of lives in each game to show off some more. On my Switch, it states I have played these 3 games for a total of 140 hours or more.

I’ve neglected posting updates for far too long. But I will now hopefully keep up with making blog posts again 🙂
I’ve only recently got back into recording video proofs for my optimal times, but I’ve added 3 recently for New Super Mario Bros. U, to bring my total of optimal NSMBU videos to 29. There is also one suboptimal time included in the playlist, for Graceful Glide, which I hope to get the new optimal time on some day and so replace that video eventually.

1-Up Rally All Golds
I’ve been playing NSMBU most of the time over the past week and a bit. 13 Videos are now in the playlist and lots more will come soon. I have a gold on every 1-up rally challenge: although I still have a way to go to optimise my scores on them, so I will continue on playing NSMBU.
These past three days, I’ve been on NSMBU a lot, and have uploaded 3 perfect times so far.
