Not much notable has happened in the past 3 weeks as I’ve made it to Level 75 but I’m up to 541 species now in my living shiny Pokédex.

Pokémon GO Progress #18: Level 74
This week I finally reached trainer level 74.
I’ve gone up to 48 hundo best buddies and working on 2 more.
I’ve got at least 100 candy in every evolutionary line and I think I have enough candy to evolve in every line apart from Snom, also.
And I have 933 3 star and up now for unique species. 17 below the current maximum.
Pokémon GO Progress #17: Level 73!
I reached Level 73 on Pokémon GO a couple of days ago.
I now have 41 hundo level 50 best buddies and working on buddying up two more.
I’ve also got more than 100 candy for every Pokémon I have except the recent Glimmet. I also want to get 11 more candy in Toedscool so I have 150 candy, ready to evolve to Toedscruel and reduce back to 100 and 75 more candy for Applin for its gen 9 evolutions.
Additionally, I have 921 3 star Pokémon in my living (species) dex now, just 104 less than the national dex as of gen 9 and 18 missing from those in the game:
Missing Rotom, Keldeo, Hawlucha, Zygarde, Mudbray, Mudsdale, Comfey, Clobbopus, Grapploct, Morgrem, Zarude, 1 of Kubfu/Urshifu, Toedscool, Toedscruel, Glimmet, Gholdengo, Dipplin and Hydrapple.
Pokémon GO Progress #16: Level 72!
I reached level 72 last Sunday.
Also recently, I’ve been working on getting more hundos to level 50 and best buddy. I now have a total of 36 and will reach 41 in a few weeks probably. I also have only 169 candy to get to make every single evolutionary line have 100 or more candy.
Pokémon GO Progress #15: Level 71!
I reached Level 71 last week. Not much else noteworthy change, however I am a lot closer to evolving Snom.
Pokémon GO Progress #14: Level 70!
Level 70 arrived in Pokémon GO. Now the task will be to get up to Level 80!
I recently exceeded 500 Shinies in my Shiny Species living Pokédex.
I also have only 9 evolutionary lines (applin, snom, indeedee, duraladon, grafaiai, toedscool, wugtrio, dondozo and tatsugiri) to reach 100 or more candies in.
I also recently got my third shundo: Deoxys Speed forme.
Pokémon GO Progress #13: Over 250 Million XP!
I now have over 250 million XP!
As of writing, I also have 491 in a shiny species living dex. I have more than 50 additional unique forms shiny as well, not counting Costumes, Shadow, Purified etc.
My missing 3* Counts are:
Kanto: 3 forms (galarian birds). I hyper trained my Mew so it was finally at least 3*
Johto: 9 forms (Unown forms)
Hoenn: 5 forms including 1 Species (Kecleon)
Sinnoh: 28 forms including 4 species
Unova: 3 forms (both Keldeo and the unimplemented Meloetta-P)
Kalos: 18 forms (including Hawlucha and all Zygarde formes)
Alola: 28 forms (including 11 species)
Galar&Hisui: 107+ forms (including 36 species)
Paldea: 81+ forms (incuding 70 species)
I have over 900 species in the game now.
Pokémon GO Progress #12: Level 50!
Finally, I made it to 999 excellent throws! I now share the same trainer level as the most elite of the Pokémon GO player-base. I’ve now got 8 special research on the GO, so I want to focus on completing some of them, including the Level 50 challenge. I’m generally keeping up with collecting in the overall Pokédex.
Other than that, I’m focusing on best buddying Level 50 Gyarados and Tapu Koko Hundos, and also a second lot of Groudon and Yveltal Hundos that are on their way to Level 50. I’m also getting a female mega venusaur to mega level 3.
So there probably won’t be too many GO landmarks from now on, but I’ll try to remember to share some dex-related ones as they gradually happen.
Pokémon GO Progress #11: Level 49
Trainer Level 49!
Today, I finally leveled up to level 49. Just a couple of days ago I had 30 lucky trades to go, but miraculously I managed to climb all the way up to 50 lucky trades during this boosted event.
It looks like level 50 won’t take too long. Only about 5 million XP and many excellent throws to go.
My missing 3* species counts are:
Kanto – 1 | Johto – 0 | Hoenn – 1 | Sinnoh – 5 | Unova – 4 | Kalos – 9 | Alola – 22
For forms, it’s:

I have nearly 100 lucky Pokémon now.
Next goal: Level 50!

After over a year, I finally got around to completing the walking tasks required for level 48!
My missing 3* species counts are:
